The Journey to Zion: Hidden in the Exodus

One powerful prophetic pattern appears when we compare Israel's journey from Egypt with Isaiah's vision of a purified Zion. In Exodus, God delivered His people from Egypt, led them through the wilderness, revealed His presence through cloud and fire, and brought them toward the promised land. In Isaiah 4, God speaks again of cleansing His people, making them holy, and covering Zion with cloud by day and flaming fire by night. This shows us a pattern and a hidden revelation in the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to a Promised Land, and our Journey to Zion.
